Philadelphia Church of God
The publisher of Raising the Ruins is the Philadelphia Church of God. In addition to providing spiritual instruction to members in congregations in 67 countries worldwide, the church is actively involved in publishing, broadcasting, and other projects. Its monthly newsmagazine, The Philadelphia Trumpet, and related website, theTrumpet.com, report on and analyze current events from a biblical perspective. In its weekly television broadcast, The Key of David, Pastor General Gerald Flurry presents world news analysis and biblical instruction. Through the Armstrong International Cultural Foundation, the church supports cultural and humanitarian projects locally and in the Middle East. The church is headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma, on the campus of Herbert W. Armstrong College, a liberal arts school patterned after Ambassador College.
